SFDXA PROSPECTIVE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for FULL MEMBER status a prospective member must:

    • Be a member in good standing of the ARRL;
    • Attend a minimum of two regular meetings within a twelve (12) month period. Prior to election, a prospective member must also indicate their intention to seek membership on each meeting roster. The annual DX function or picnic will not count as a regular meeting for this purpose;
    • Show proof of DXCC membership or show proof of one hundred (100) countries confirmed.

To qualify for ASSOCIATE MEMBER status a prospective member must:

  • Be a member in good standing of the ARRL;
  • There are no meeting or country total requirements.

All applicants must be approved by the Membership Committee upon meeting the above requirements.

The Membership Committee shall advise all regular members by means of the meeting notice of the prospective member consideration.

Approval of a prospective member for membership must be by at least seventy-five (75%) percent of the FULL members present at any regular meeting, by secret ballot.

A name tag is issued when you are accepted as a member. As part of your application, please indicate what name or ‘handle’ you prefer. Replacement badges may be ordered directly from the Signman.
