SFDXA PROSPECTIVE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for FULL MEMBER status a prospective member must:

• • Be a member in good standing of the ARRL
  • Attend one of our meetings in-person or on Zoom and submit a membership application online (before or during the meeting).  Pay $20 dues by going to Paypal and entering the email address of “payments@sfdxa.com” as your recipient.  South Florida DX Association should appear. You do not need to be a member of Paypal and there are several ways to pay.
  • Show proof of DXCC membership or show proof of one hundred (100) countries confirmed by Card Check or LoTW before your second meeting attendance.
  • Your membership will be voted on at the second meeting you attend in-person or on Zoom.  Please email President@sfdxa.com to verify that you are on that meeting agenda for the vote. 
  • Approval of a prospective member for membership must be by at least seventy-five (75%) percent of the FULL members present at any regular meeting.  Good luck!

To qualify for ASSOCIATE MEMBER status a prospective member must:

• Be a member in good standing of the ARRL;
• There are no meeting or country total requirements.  Membership is immediate upon filling out the online application and paying $10 dues by Paypal as above.
• If you wish, ask any member to serve as your Elmer.  We are all committed to helping with your DX adventure!  That’s why we are here.  Some of our club members are also happy to invite FULL or Associate Memebers to our club station in the hospital to familiarize you with the equipment. This is perfect for hams who are antenna challenged and want to operate our super-station!
