SFDXA PROSPECTIVE MEMBER REQUIREMENTS

To qualify for FULL MEMBER status a prospective member must:

- Be a member in good standing of the ARRL
- Attend one of our meetings and submit a membership application online or an application on paper (before or during the meeting). Pay $20 dues.
- Show proof of DXCC membership or show proof of one hundred (100) countries confirmed before your second meeting attendance.
- Your membership will be voted on at the second meeting you attend. Please email President@sfdxa.com to verify that you are on that meeting agenda.
- Approval of a prospective member for membership must be by at least seventy-five (75%) percent of the FULL members present at any regular meeting, by secret ballot. Good luck!

To qualify for ASSOCIATE MEMBER status a prospective member must:

Be a member in good standing of the ARRL;
There are no meeting or country total requirements. Membership is immediate upon paying $10 dues.
If you wish, ask any member to serve as your Elmer. We are all committed to helping with your DX adventure! Some of our club members are also happy to invite you to our club station in the hospital and familiarize you with the equipment. This is perfect for hams who are antenna challenged!
